Since 1981, Women in Film & Video New England (WIFVNE) has supported women’s voices within the film, television, and media industry.
And in 2017, women’s voices were loud and clear. Voices of anger, frustration, fear, and helplessness. Shouts of harassment, assault, inequalities, and disparities. Resounding chants at marches and in campaigns.
What can we do to change the lens? Wherever possible, WIFVNE does and will continue to highlight issues concerning women in media, and promote other organizations who focus on gender disparity issues.
WIFVNE has identified some national and local resources, articles and organizations. They are listed below. If you know of any additional resources we can share with our membership, please email firstname.lastname@example.org We will continue to update this list.
