Networking Wednesday AMA: The 2022 48 Hour Film Project

Join Boston 48 Hour Film Project Producer Andrew Osborne for this special "Meet & Greet" Networking Wednesday. 

Whether you're a pro or new to filmmaking, the hybrid live and online 2022 Boston 48 Hour Film Project (May 13-15) is a great way to connect with local cast, crew, musicians, and more as teams rush to complete 4-7 minute movies in, yes, just 48 hours. Then, a week later, the hybrid event will screen the premieres both live at the Somerville Theater and online for a shot at the top prize during our Best Of & Awards Show in June (with the winning film moving on to the international Filmapalooza competition and a chance to screen at the Cannes Film Festival). Whether you're looking for information, a team to join, or people for your own team, come enjoy a great night of networking! (And we'll do our best to answer questions about the Providence 48 Hour Film Project and the New Haven 48 Hour Film Project, too.)

This conversation will be moderated by Rachel S. Thomas-Medwid. Rachel is a screenwriter, director, independent filmmaker, and an ISA Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch in 2021. Her films and screenplays have won multiple awards worldwide and have provided her with incredible opportunities to network and learn more about the art of filmmaking. Her first 48 Hour Film Project film in 2021 "Therapy King" was the Audience Choice Award runner up and after only one experience she's hooked for life!

Andrew Osborne is an Emmy-award winning writer with credits including the Sundance premiere On_Line, his own feature debut Apocalypse Bop, the Discovery Channel game show Cash Cab, and the third place Best Film of the 2009 Boston 48HFP, "Sock Pox." He's also written film, theater, comic book and interactive scripts for Warner Bros., MTV, HBO, Orion, MPCA, The Pinehills Players, The Builder’s Association, Platinum Studios, Digital Anvil, enVie Interactive, and the Eisner-nominated Image Comics series Blue Estate.
