Get ready for liftoff at the WIFVNE 2023 Annual Meeting of Members!

Come to network with like-minded professionals, connect with women in the industry, and get inspired by speakers and changemakers to fuel your next year of growth in your career journey.  Join us for a celebration with industry professionals, independent filmmakers, storytellers, festival directors, content creators, craftspersons, and talented crew and cast.

This year, we’re hosting the event simultaneously at two locations: GBH in Boston and Valley Venture Mentors in Springfield, MA on Wednesday, November 15th.  Springfield hosts networking and a vendor fair; the speakers listed below will be seen through a live-streamed presentation, not in person.

Yemisi Oloruntola-Coates is GBH's Chief Inclusion and Equity Officer, implementing data-driven strategies for workplace inclusivity and diversity. With over 15 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, she has introduced innovative methodologies, Employee Resource Groups, and supplier diversity programs. She has a background in education and cultural diplomacy and has received various awards for her work, including recognition in Ebony magazine for COVID-19 vaccination efforts in Springfield, MA.

Andrea Lyman is proud to be a WIFVNE member.  She is the New England Local President of SAG-AFTRA, serves on the Roxbury International Film Festival board and is a Co-Director of the Actors Forum of the Secret Society Of Black Creatives. She cannot mention certain roles because of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike against the AMPTP. She can mention films done under other contracts, such as PLUS 1’s and UGLY SWEATER. She also works as a singer with her solo cabaret style show, BROADWAY LADY.

Amy Greene is a film Producer, Stunt Coordinator, and Stunt Performer, who's recent projects include the Academy Award winning SOUND OF METAL, and Academy Award nominated KNIVES OUT. Other films she's been a part of have won awards at Sundance, Cannes, and The Independent Spirit Awards. As a stunt coordinator she collaborates with directors to create believable and authentic action, most recently working with Alexander Payne on his highly anticipated film THE HOLDOVERS.
