Special Screening event
The team behind the film SNOWBALL EFFECT is is hosting a special charity screening of the film, taking place on Sunday December 18th at 5pm at the Spencer Country Inn, 500 Main St, Spencer, MA 01562.

The public are invited to this special screening of SNOWBALL EFFECT with cast and crew at the historic Spencer Country Inn, one of the key locations the produced filmed. Light appetizers and desserts will be served. The cost of admission will be a new unwrapped toy for donation to Toys for Tots or a non-perishable food donation for the local food pantry. A Q&A will take place with the filmmakers following the screening.
About the Film:
A Christmas miracle gives rival meteorologists Tara and Sam the opportunity of a lifetime to move up to the big leagues, but they must first beat an impending blizzard on their way to the city for an interview. Instead, they get stuck in the village of Mistletoe, where the holidays are no longer celebrated. Can they put aside their differences and bring Christmas back to a sleepy rural town or will they choose their dream job over the spirit of the season?

Starring Anjali Khurana and Landon Moss, the film was Directed by Massachusetts local Chris Lang and produced by WIFVNE Members Alecia Orsini (MA) and Jenna O’Connell (RI). The film completed filming in April of 2022 and included much local talent in front of and behind the screen, including WIFVNE Members Director of Photography Maddie Staszak, Second Assistant Director Isabelle Germino, Sound Mixer Yvonne Corbett, and Production Supervisor Heather Keith to name a few. The film feature’s locations in and around the Worcester Area. Including but not limited to The Farm at SummitWynds in Jefferson, The Fobes Memorial Library in Oakham, Worcester Common, WCCA TV, and of course, the Spencer Country Inn.
